Researchers and doctors have been studying the effects of human growth hormone in children for years. HGH was originally used to treat children who were abnormally small and not developing as they should. It was given to adolescents whose bodies were not naturally producing enough human growth hormone on their own. Results varied however it was shown that on average as much as two inches were added to each person’s height.

Just recently in the past ten years has the medical industry realized the effects human growth hormone can have on adults. A study was done on men ranging from ages 61 to 81. The results that human growth hormone had on these men were astounding. They all had a significant increase in lean muscle mass and skin elasticity, and a large decrease in body fat. This study concluded that human growth hormone can indeed reverse the signs of aging.

In the beginning stages the only supply of human growth hormone that was available to doctors and researchers was through the extraction of human cadavers. However, due to scientific research and genetic engineering, HGH is available in a variety of forms such as a spray, pill or injection. Injections are extremely expensive and usually not affordable to the average person. Now adults are realizing the benefits HGH can have on them and are starting to use the supplements to reverse the effects of aging.
